CHARLES CITY- Seven year old Austin Tupy is making sure his holiday break is productive. Tupy, along with his mother and father toured KCHA and KCZE studios as part of a Boy Scout project.

Tupy, a first grade student at Lincoln Elementary in Charles City, says he learns a lot in Cub Scouts.

On his tour, he learned about the different jobs people hold at the station.  He even helped KCHA morning show host Chris Berg record a special holiday message.

Tupy says his favorite part of the tour was recording into the microphone.  He is a member of Troop 4166.

About Chris Berg 3693 Articles
Chris was born and raised in Webster City, IA. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki and a daughter Brynlee.
