Deadline Nears for Farmers

CHARLES CITY- The annual enrollment for the Conservation Stewardship Program is under way. It’s an effort that’s finding success in Iowa. Under C-S-P, incentives are provided to farmers to strengthen water quality, protect wildlife habitat and enhance soil quality; and Jeremy Gustafson of Boone says those goals are coming to fruition.

Farmers and ranchers interested in C-S-P can apply at their local Natural Resources Conservation Service with a sign-up deadline of January 17th.

About Chris Berg

Chris was born and raised in Webster City, IA. As a young kid, he would always be caught singing along to songs on the radio. He says he's good at karaoke but we think otherwise. ;) In his free time, he enjoys beginning new projects at home and hardly ever finishing them. Chris lives in Charles City with his wife Vicki and a daughter Brynlee.
