Career Fair for Students and Jobseekers

CHARLES CITY- Charles City students will get a look at a variety of job opportunities at an upcoming career fair.

The fair, created as a way for high school and middle school students to explore local options, is a joint effort between Charles City High School and the Chamber of Commerce.  Mark Wicks with the chamber says the fair will help highlight careers that require varying levels of education.

The fair is also meant to be a community event.  From 4 to 8pm, the career fair will be open to the public to learn more about local employers says Wicks.

The career fair will be held January 6th and is a free event for both students and the public.  The public session is open from 4 to 8pm.
