Iowa car crash sends several people to hospital

DUNKERTON, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say a two-vehicle crash in Black Hawk County has sent several people to the hospital.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened Friday night at an intersection near Dunkerton.

Authorities say one of the vehicles failed to obey a traffic control device and struck the other vehicle. The second car went into a ditch and rolled.

Three adults and three children from both cars were sent to a nearby hospital via ambulance. A fourth adult took a personal vehicle to the hospital.

Authorities have not released names and conditions. Additional information has not been released.
