The police report states a deputy came upon an occupied motor vehicle in a ditch at Thrush Avenue and 230th Street early Saturday morning.

Marzen was in the vehicle and was arrested for an OWI 1st offense, no insurance, failure to maintain control, and an open container.

Marzen lost his job as Floyd County Attorney in 2010. The Iowa Supreme Court suspended his law license after the court said he broke the rules when he had a sexual relationship with a client before he was elected county attorney in November 2006.
