Mother Nature Wreaks Havoc on Area Teams

In what has become a theme this year, our area teams were unable to take the court or the mat due to the weather.  Charles City’s wrestling meet against Clear Lake and Denver-Tripoli was cancelled and will not be made up.  The Nashua-Plainfield girls and boys basketball games at Saint Ansgar scheduled for last will now be played on January 20th.  The Rockford boys and girls will now host Central Springs on January 30th.  The North Butler girls and boys basketball teams will make up their games with Riceville on January 20th.  And the Osage Green Devil boys and girls basketball teams will now travel to Lake Mills January 20th instead of playing last night.  The number of games postponed this season is certainly setting up for a busy last four weeks of the season.
