The Charles City Arts Center will show the first of a two part foreign film today.
The 1991 film, “A Brighter Summer Day” was made in Taiwan. The film, set in the 1960s, is based on a real incident that the director remembers from his school days.
Each Wednesday, the Charles City Arts Center and the Floyd County Diversity Committee host a foreign film. There is no cost to attend. The film will start at 7:00pm.
