Snow Forces Jendro Sanitation To Make Changes

Charles City, IA – With winter weather continuing to drag on, Jendro Sanitation has been forced to make changes in the way they pick up garbage in Charles City.

Beginning Tuesday, March 11th 2014, Jendro will be collecting all trash and recycling bins curbside on the street only. This change means that you can only place your garbage and blue bins on the street, as close to the parking as possible. In addition, Jendro will no longer drive down any alleyway in the city of Charles City. You’re also advised to not park in front or near the garbage on the street.

These changes will be in effect until further notice.

With the forecast showing above freezing temperatures for a majority of next week and the week after, hopefully these changes will be short lived. If you have any questions, call Jendro at (641) 228-3525.
