FFA Student Leaders Preparing for the Future


FFA Student Leaders are making sure that the future of Agriculture is secure today and far into the future. Michael Tupper a senior at New Hampton HS, is Vice President of the FFA Northwest sub district and recently attended the Youth Leadership Council Annual meeting in Nashville TN:

Tupper is the son of Larry and Joanne Tupper and plans to attend Iowa State next fall, majoring in Agricultural Engineering.

Elissa Russ is also a senior at New Hampton and serving as FFA Secretary for the Northeast Iowa District. She says she has been in FFA for as long as she can remember, with her dad being an Ag teacher for over 25 years and she has had some amazing experiences in FFA:

She plans to attend Iowa State University next fall majoring in Agricultural Education, where she will follow in her fathers’ footsteps. Her parents are Jim and Sandra Russ.
