Litterer, Stewart Among Many Honored Thursday in Charles City

Past Winners for Man and Woman of the Year

Charles City, IA – Close to 100 people attended the annual Chares City Volunteer Awards Banquet held at the Charles Theatre on Thursday, awarding numerous individuals for their volunteer work in the community.

Former Chamber Director Veronica Litter, who resigned her position last year to take on a realtor career with Stewart Realty, was named Woman of the Year and ironically, Stewart Realty owner Dean Stewart was named Man of the Year.

Chamber Director Mark Wicks said weather conditions could have played a factor in attendance at the event, he was still pleased with the turnout.
