Report: Iowa is Among Nation’s “Safest States”

Des Moines, Ia – When compared to the rest of the nation, Iowa is one of the safest places to call home. A ranking of the “safest states” by WalletHub has Iowa at number seven, using measures such as home and community stability, workplace and driving safety. Also taken into account was financial safety, which C-E-O Odysseas Papadimitriou says has become increasingly important in recent years.

Papadimitriou says the safest state in which to live is Massachusetts, and at the bottom of the rankings is Nevada. Another category examined was natural disasters, which Papadimitriou says are a growing concern, nationwide.
