CHARLES CITY, IA - With summer weather firmly in place, the arctic winter temps may seem like a distant memory but not for City workers. Charles City has discovered that the winter freeze has left behind some damage in the form of cracked water lines. City Administrator Steve Diers brought the issue to the Councils attention at this weeks Council Meeting, saying it’s not exactly an emergency yet but the problem needs to be addressed soon.:
Diers said they should have actual estimates for the council to review by the council workshop meeting on Wed the 16th.
