A Volleyball On A Grunge Textured Background

The Nashua Plainfield Husky volleyball team picked up a couple of victories last night at home. They beat 12th ranked Hudson in match number one 2-1. Sets went 22-25, 25-22, 15-11. In that match, Briley Fisher had 9 kills, and Hanna Holthaus had 8. Aubrey Bienneman finished with 23 assists and Samantha Hyde was a perfect 16-16 from behind the service line. In match number two Nashua took care of Dunkerton 2-0 by scores of 25-19 and 25-19. Briley Fisher again led the way with 8 kills, Dallas Weiss had 7 kills and Bienemann finished with 21 assists. The Huskies improve to 3-0 on the season and will next be in action Tuesday at home against Corn Bowl Conference opponent Central Springs.
The Rockford Warrior Volleyball team took care of business last night as they swept through Clarksville 3-0 25-11, 25-19, 25-22. Sophomore Skylar Schmitt led the Warrior offense with 10 kills, and sophomore Theresa Jones has 20 assists. Rockford was an impressive 62-66 from behind the service line to help them to victory. The Warriors are 1-0 on this young season and will host Turkey Valley on Tuesday.
The New Hampton Chickasaw Volleyball team picked up their first victory of the season by way of a 3-1 win over Mason City at home. The Chickasaws dropped the first game 16-25, but gathered themselves and rattled off three wins 25-18, 25-13, and 25-15 to improve to 1-1 on the season.
The Charles City Comet Volleyball team will begin their regular season with a trip to Ames tomorrow. The Comets will be competing in an all-day tournament.
