Annual Fox River Socktoberfest To Be Held October 7th – 9th In Osage

Osage, Iowa – The annual Socktoberfest, a benefit sock sale for Osage area non-profit organizations, will be held October 7th – 9th at the Mitchell County Fairgrounds in Osage.

Over 100,000 pairs of socks, which are made at Fox River Mills in Osage, will be sold at discounted prices.

Osage Chamber director Cortney Perrin talks about the event.

Community organizations including the Osage Rotary Club, Osage Kiwanis and the Osage Lions Club. Each organization uses the money to support their organization’s causes which often support youth and school activities along with after-school and summer programs.

The sale will run on Friday, October 7th from 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, Saturday, October 8th from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday October 9th from noon until 3pm.
