The Charles City Comet football team will be on the road for the second straight week tonight as they will travel to Independence for a Class 3A District 3 match-up.  The Comets come in at 1-3 overall this season and are 1-1 in District play.  Independence is winless at 0-4 and they are 0-2 in the District.  You can tune into this game right here on KCHA starting with a pregame at about 7pm with kickoff scheduled for 7:30.

The Nashua-Plainfield at North Butler football game for tonight as been postponed tonight.  No make-up date has yet been announced.

The Osage Green Devil football team will be in Cresco tonight for a Class 2A District 2 football game against the Cadets.  The Green Devils are 1-3 overall this season and they are 0-2 in the District while Crestwood comes in at 2-2 and 2-0.  You can tune into this game on our sister station 987 KISS Country starting with a pregame at about 7:15.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30.

The Rockford Warrior football team will be in Mason City tonight for a Class A District 3 match-up with the Newman Knights.  Rockford football is 0-4 overall this season and they sit at 0-2 in District play.  Mason City Newman comes in at 3-1 and 1-1.  Kickoff for this game will be at 7pm.

The Saint Ansgar Saints football team will look to stay perfect tonight as they get set to travel to Sheffield for a Class A District 3 match-up against West Fork.  The Saints are 4-0 overall and 2-0 in District play while West Fork is 0-4 and 0-2.  Kickoff for this game will also be at 7pm.

The Iowa State Cyclone football team will be in a non-conference bout against San Jose State tomorrow.  The Cyclones are looking for their first win of the season as they sit at 0-3.  San Jose State will come into tomorrow’s game with a record of 1-2.  You can tune into this game right here on KCHA starting with a pregame at 9am and Kickoff will be at 11.

The Iowa Hawkeye football team will look to rebound tomorrow after last week’s loss to North Dakota State.  The Hawkeyes open up Big Ten Conference play tomorrow at Rutgers.  Both the Hawkeyes and the Scarlet Knights are 2-1 this season.  You can tune into this game on our sister station 951 The Bull starting with a pregame at 9am and kickoff is scheduled for 11.
