The Charles City Comet volleyball team will wrap up Northeast Iowa Conference play tonight on the road as they get set to travel to New Hampton.  The Comets are 28-5 overall this season with a conference record of 5-0 and with a win tonight, they would be crowned conference champions.  New Hampton comes in with a record of 24-6 overall and they are 3-2 in the NEIC.  You can tune into this game on our sister station 951 The Bull tonight starting at about 7:30.

The Charles City Comet boys and girls cross country teams will be in Oelwein tonight to take part in the Northeast Iowa Conference meet.  The Comets will run alongside Crestwood, Decorah, New Hampton, Oelwein, Waukon and Waverly-Shell Rock.  The conference meet will get started at 4pm with the Middle School girls race.  The Middle School boys, JV girls and boys and Varsity girls and boys races will follow.

The Nashua-Plainfield Husky and North Butler Bearcat volleyball teams will be in Hampton tonight for a quadrangular meet along with the Bulldogs and Lake Mills.  The Huskies are 3-17 overall this season and North Butler comes in at 15-13.  The first matches will begin at 6pm.
