A Volleyball On A Grunge Textured Background

The Osage Green Devil volleyball team was able to sweep Clear Lake in a Class 3A Regional Quarter-Final last night at home.  Scores went 25-14, 25-16, and 25-22.  Brenna Jacobs had eleven kills to lead the Green Devil offense, Rylie Olson had 31 assists on the night and, as a team, Osage was 67-70 serving with eleven aces.  The Osage volleyball team improves to 21-11 overall this season and they will play in the Regional Semi-Finals on Tuesday against New Hampton.

The Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union will host State Qualifying meets all over Iowa tonight.  The Charles City Comet boys and girls will run in Decorah tonight vying for a trip to Fort Dodge next week.  Tonight’s meet in Decorah will begin with the girls race at 4pm.

The Nashua-Plainfield, North Butler, Rockford and Saint Ansgar boys and girls cross country teams will compete in their Class 1A State Qualifying Meet today in Cedar Falls.  The girls race will be first and will begin at 3pm.

The Osage Green Devil boys and girls cross country teams will participate in the Class 2A State Qualifying Meet today hosted by Garner-Hayfield-Ventura.  Their meet will begin at 4pm.
