Alzheimer’s Awareness Night To Be Held Saturday At CC Elks

Charles City, Iowa – An Alzheimer’s Awareness Night will be held this Saturday, November 5th at the Elks Lodge in Charles City.

Organizer Brandi Miller from Cedar Health, sponsor of the event, talks about the purpose of the awareness night.

Miller gave some pretty frightening statistics when it comes to the disease.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the event will include food and beverages, live music, a silent auction as well as a comedian.

Cedar Health staff member Angie Lines said the evening will be filled with fun and laughter.

Tickets are available for purchase at the business office of Cedar Health until noon on Friday.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Alzheimer’s Association  – Greater Iowa Chapter.
