Beware of Medicare scams

Des Moines, Iowa – RadioIowa – Iowans who are who are 65 and older are in the midst of reviewing their Medicare plans during what’s call the open enrollment period.  Elissa Balch, a spokesperson for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services says it’s a time when scammers might try to take advantage of them.

Balch says there are some key pieces of information you need to find.

She says be careful about giving out your personal information.
