Newspapers NH Tribune & Nashua Reporter gets to keep trophy, wins annual grocery cart fundraiser

New Hampton, Iowa – The annual Grocery Cart Race, hosted by the Chickasaw County Farm Bureau, was held Wednesday at Fareway in New Hampton.

Employees of the New Hampton Tribune/Nashua Reporter took on 95.1 The Bull contestants Missy Pitzenberger and Bob for the annual race, with items being donated to the Nashua Food Pantry.

For the second year in a row, The New Hampton Tribune/Nashua Reporter staff took home the coveted trophy.

New Hampton Tribune contestant Dorothy Huber said the competition was stiff.

Even though Bob and Missy didn’t take home the trophy, they both said participating in the annual race is a lot of fun.

Cassie Hackman and Tammy Miller with Chickasaw County Farm Bureau thanked participants for the event.
