NH Park and Rec

New Hampton, Iowa – The New Hampton Park and Rec baseball and softball season sign-up deadline was yesterday for second through seventh graders.

New Hampton Park and Rec director Rick Kramer talked about what’s next now that sign-up has been complete.

Kramer said the camp will be divided up in various age group segments.

Kramer said the camp offers an opportunity for the varsity coaches and staff along with varsity players a chance to work with the younger kids on some of the necessary skills they will need as they learn to play baseball and softball.

Kramer said the none of the experiences youth have through Park and Rec wouldn’t be possible without all the local sponsors that support the Park and Rec programs.

Kramer said not only are is the Park and Rec focusing on summer programs for youth, but have lots of projects in the works.

Information on all New Hampton Park and Rec programs can be found on their website, teamsideline.com/newhamptonia.
