Charles City, Iowa – It’s a sure sign of spring with the Farmer’s Market opens, and that is just what will happen this coming Saturday in Charles City.
New Charles City Chamber Assistant Joyce Knoll said she is looking forward to working with the Farmer’s Market this year and has enjoyed helping kick off the Farmer’s Market season.
The first Farmer’s Market of the season kicks off on Saturday from 9-noon and Knoll said there is a fun event planned for Saturday.
Knoll said new events will take place at the market during the rest of the summer as well.
Knoll said the Farmer’s Market is still accepting vendors for the season.
A health and wellness week is also planned for the month of July.
Knoll talked about some of the home grown and homemade items participants can expect to see at the Farmer’s Market.
Knoll said there are volunteer opportunities available with the Farmer’s Market.
The Farmer’s Market in Charles City will be held on Wednesdays from 3:30 – 6:00 and Saturdays from 9-noon at Central Park in downtown Charles City.
