Early morning armed robbery at CC convenience store, no injuries

Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at Rush Stop in the 600 block of South Main Street in Charles City. The robbery took place around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Charles City Police say a white male subject displayed a weapon and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was harmed in the incident.

The Charles City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance on the incident. A reward of up to $400 will be offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. No other information was released by the police department.
