Officers seize narcotics related items during search warrant on Wednesday

Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant on Wednesday around 8:46 p.m. in the 300 block of 13th Avenue in Charles City.

According to the Charles City Police Facebook Page, narcotics-related items as well as meth lab related items were sized by officers during the warrant.

The Charles City Police Department was assisted by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the Iowa State Patrol.

The Facebook post said the operation took lots of planning among all the agencies, and the Charles City Police Department thanks all those involved in the investigation.
