It’s American Education Week.
That’s Jenny Adam, fifth through eighth grade band director at New Hampton Middle School, who says the week begins with Monday’s recognition of the work by school board members.
Tuesday recognizes administrators, which includes superintendents and school principals.
School support staff will be saluted Wednesday, followed by teachers on Thursday, and substitute teachers and students on Friday.
The theme for this year’s American Education Week is “Together for Safe, Just, & Equitable Schools.”
