Charles City Rotary Soup Fest To Be Held Jan 23rd

Charles City, Iowa – Charles City Rotarians are now selling tickets for their annual soup fest, slated for Saturday, January 23rd. The soup fest is the longest fundraising the project the club has held and helps the club with community projects, scholarships and other efforts for Rotary International.

This year, the club will be giving away 300 fire extinguishers to participants of the soup fest. The fire extinguisher giveaway started in the fall, with more grant money recently awarded to the club by Floyd County Community Foundation.

The soup fest will be held at the Charles City high school cafeteria on Saturday, January 23rd from 5-7 p.m. Valet parking will be available. Tickets can be purchased by any Rotarian or will be sold at the door the day of the soup fest.
