Oran Man Jailed After Guns, Bomb Materials Found In Search

911 Emergency response police car speeding to scene of crime

West Union, Iowa (AP) – Authorities say a 34-year-old man was charged with possessing explosive material and other crimes after a flamethrower, a napalm mix, guns, gunpowder, pipes, shrapnel items and other bomb-making materials were found in his Oran home.

Trevor Satrom was arrested last week. Online records said Friday that Satrom remained in Fayette County Jail. Online court records don’t list the name of an attorney who could comment on Satrom’s behalf.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says Satrom’s computers and electronic devices were seized as well and are being examined by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
