MN Woman Killed In Winneshiek County Crash

Fort Atkinson, Iowa –  — A Minnesota woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Fort Atkinson on Saturday morning.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash was reported on Highway 24, three miles west of Fort Atkinson, about 9:35 a.m.

55 year old Robin Meredith of Caledonia, MN was killed in the crash.

Troops say the vehicle, a Ford Escape, was westbound on Highway 24 when it left the roadway and struck a bridge rail. The vehicle went airborne briefly, then rolled down an embankment. The driver was ejected.
