Motorcyclist Hits Deer, Results In Minor Injuries

Charles City, Iowa – On Saturday at 7:56pm, the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a motorcycle colliding with a deer in the 1900 block of 210th Street, just southwest of Charles City.

A 2002 Harley-Davidson being operated by Troy Reams of Greene was eastbound on 210th Street when a deer entered the roadway, causing Reams to strike it head on.

Reams was transported by AMR Ambulance to be treated for minor injuries.

Damages to the motorcycle are estimated to be around $4,000.
