Trials Set For MC Men Facing Gun Charges

Charles City, Iowa – Trials are set for two Mason City teens facing gun charges.

Hector Munoz III and Brandon Baysinger, both 19 years old, are charged with trafficking in stolen weapons – 1st offense.

On March 1, Charles City police got a report of a stolen handgun. Munoz allegedly took the pistol from a Charles City home and then returned to Mason City. Authorities say Munoz then rode back to Charles City with Baysinger. They were stopped in the 100 block of 14th Avenue and police say they found the gun in the vehicle.

Munoz’ trial is scheduled for May 19 while Baysinger is set to stand trial on June 23, both in Floyd County District Court.
