Iowa Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds Appearing At CCHS This Afternoon

Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City Community School District will host Iowa Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds today as part of a showcase of Charles City STEM student projects.

The Lieutenant Governor will visit Charles City High School to see STEM projects from elementary, middle school, and high school students 2:30 pm Friday.
The community is invited to attend the event which includes presentations from Lincoln Elementary School & Washington Elementary School students on coding and frame-by-frame animations. Middle school students will display robotics and programming using Spheros, and a wide array of high school projects from fractals occurring naturally in science to human anatomy will be available for the community and the Lt. Governor to experience.

The Charles City STEM labs also will be available for community tours.
