Nora Springs Woman Facing Forgery, Theft Charges

Mason City, Iowa – A Nora Springs woman is facing charges of forgery and 2nd degree theft.

45-year-old Julie Ann Fingalsen was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail around 2:30 pm last Thursday.

Authorities allege that between February 1 and March 28, while she was working at Eastman Law Office, Fingalsen cashed or deposited approximately 14 checks belonging to her employer without their permission. The Clear Lake Police Department says the checks amounted to over $5,000.

Fingalsen is being held on $20,000 bond.
