CenturyLink Awards Grant To CC Schools For Student Solar Project

Charles City, Iowa – CenturyLink has awarded the Charles City School District a $3,325 grant for high school students creating a solar power project.

CenturyLink has awarded the money for students in a social studies class to create solar-powered chargers at three varying levels with given supplies.

The funds are awarded through the company’s Clarke M. Williams Foundation’s Teachers and Technology grant program.

This year, 314 grants up to $5,000 each were awarded nationwide.
