The Charles City Press Welcomes New Owners

Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City Press recently acquired new owners, Christopher and Kristin Hall. While not new to the Press or to Charles City, Hall is new to ownership and talks about the new endeavor.

Hall’s wife, Kristin Hall, is fairly new to the community and said she is looking forward to the new opportunity as co-owner of the Press.

Hall’s parents, Gene and Cathy Hall, recently purchased the New Hampton Tribune and the Nashua Reporter, and Christopher Hall will remain the publisher for those two newspapers.

The Halls say they are very excited about the future of Charles City.

Hall talked about changes he foresees down the pike for the Charles City Press.

Kristin Hall said they plan to continue with the professionalism of the newspaper instilled by former owners Gene and Kathy Hall.
