CCHS Hosting Blood Drive Today

Charles City, Iowa – The Charles City High School will host a blood drive on Friday, May 13th, which has been organized by high school students. The blood drive will take place from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Charles City High School gym.

Madison Davis, a junior at Charles City High School, is one of the students organizing the blood drive. Davis talked about the criteria that needs to be met to be a blood donor.

She talked about the reasons as to why blood donation is so necessary.

There are questions that are commonly asked when it comes to a blood drive.

And Davis talked about a person can contact if they are interested in giving blood.

Once again, the Charles City High School blood drive will take place Friday from 7 a.m. -2 p.m. at the Charles City High School gymnasium.
