Lindaman Sentenced To Up To 10 Years, Must Register As Sex Offender


Charles City, Iowa – Doug Lindaman made an appearance in Floyd County court for his sentencing hearing. Lindaman was convicted of 3rd degree sexual abuse in April. At his trial, Lindaman represented himself, but has since then been represented by attorney John Standafer.

Several motions were made by the defense during the sentencing hearing, of which all were denied by Judge Gregg Rosenbladt.

Floyd County Attorney Rachel Ginbey talked about the sentencing.

Lindaman was escorted out of the courtroom by Floyd County deputies and was transferred to Oakdale prison.
