FC Relay For Life Set For Friday June 17th

Flags At Relay For Life Of Ann Arbor Event

Charles City, Iowa – The Relay for Life of Floyd County will take place Friday, June 17th at Central Park in Charles City.

The opening ceremony will begin at 5 p.m., followed by a flag ceremony and a survivor celebration.

Food and beverages will be on hand and several different events will take place throughout the evening.

In honor of the event, new flags were purchased through the Charles City Rotary Club, which are placed throughout the downtown district of Charles City.

This year’s honorary survivor is Dori Myers, who fought leukemia several years ago.

A silent auction will be part of the event, along with sale of beads and luminarias. Live music by Easy Does It will be be performed from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
