Party In The Park

Charles City, Iowa – The second Party in the Park series of 2016 is set for tonight in Central Park from 5-9 p.m. Sponsors for this week’s Party in the Park are Central Park Dentistry, Edward Jones (Mark Sindlinger and Jeremy Heyer), McDonald’s, Mitas, and Zoetis.

Tonight’s Party in the Park will feature inflatable fun with the EuroBungy and a bounce house. Other kids’ activities have been planned, including carnival games, pedal car races, mini golf, face painting, Super Water Ball Race, free kolaches, balloon animals, caricature drawings, free giveaways and more! You don’t want to miss this.

Toaster is our featured band and plays a great mix of 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s rock-n-roll! Maybe even some tunes from the 2000’s but they will sure keep the crowd going all night.

Other 2016 Party in the Park events will be held on June 24, July 15, July 29, and August 12. . Events are held from 5-9 p.m. in Central Park. There is no admission charge. Families can join in the fun with various children’s games and activities offered at each event. Food and beverages are available for purchase throughout the evening with Party in the Park’s “Chuck Chip” currency. This year’s red Chuck Chips are being sponsored by L & J Industries Inc. Chuck Chips may be obtained from the “Chuck Chip Table” near the center of the park or from volunteers in red Chuck aprons stationed throughout the park during the events. Past year’s Chuck Chips will not be accepted.

The Party in the Park events are a function of Charles City Community Revitalization, Charles City’s Main Street Iowa program.
