Greene River Days Celebration To Be Held This Weekend

Greene, Iowa – Greene River Days will be celebrated this coming weekend, sponsored by the Greene Jaycees.

The fun begins on Friday at 5 p.m. with inflatable rides, a free petting zoo, a beer tent and food stands. A children’s parade will be held at 5:30 and themes kids can choose from include “Let Freedom Ring”, “When I Grow Up” and “At the Ball Park.”

Saturday’s events include a 5K Run/Walk, a parade beginning at 11 a.m., and live music throughout the day.
