Simply Essentials Project On Track; Creating 254 Jobs

Charles City, Iowa – The Simply Essentials Poultry project, located at 901 N. Main in Charles City, is coming along, according to Charles City administrator Steve Diers.

Diers said one of the biggest issues they are facing is the wastewater needs.

Diers said the project may push forward the plan of the city building a new wastewater treatment plant.

In the interim, Diers said they are moving forward with a plan for Simply Essentials Poultry to begin operations.

Diers said they are getting closer every day for the project.

The Kansas-based company says its plans to create 254 jobs through the project.
