Greene Man Jailed For Sexual Assault

Marble Rock, Iowa – The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office says a Greene man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Marble Rock in May has been arrested.

46 year old Stephen Brodersen Jr. who allegedly raped a female house guest visiting from out of state on May 21, is charged with third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony.

According to deputies, Brodersen was living in Marble Rock at the time the alleged offense took place and later moved to Greene.

Brodersen was released from the Floyd County Jail after posting surety bond and has a court appearance scheduled for Wednesday.
