Implement Dealer Reports Burglary At 2 Locations

Decorah, Iowa – Bodensteiner Implement in Decorah and Waukon is asking for the public’s help in finding a burglar.

On Sunday at about 3:30 p.m., an employee of Bodensteiner Implement on Highway 9 in Decorah stopped at the business to assist with an after-hours customer call regarding a needed part.
The employee noticed several items missing from the business inventory, including Stihl power tools, Stihl accessories and parts, along with other power equipment such as air compressors, power washers and tractor cameras.

Bodensteiner Implement in Waukon was also found to have several of the same items stolen from their store inventory.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating, and anyone with information regarding this or the Waukon burglary is encouraged to call the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office at (563) 382-4268 or the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office at (563) 568-4521.
