Tuesday Meeting To Focus On Floyd Intersection Safety, Petition To Get It Changed

Charles City, Iowa – A petition has been formulated to push the state to fix the dangerous intersection on Highway 218 at the Floyd turnoff.

The recent death of TJ Houdek sparked the petition, which has over 2,000 signatures.

A meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 26th beginning at 5 p.m. at the Floyd Community Center.

State representatives Todd Prichard, Mary Jo Wilhelm and Josh Byrnes will be at the meeting to hear public comments and talk about their plans to addressing the issue to state officials.
