Grand Opening Celebration For New Middle School Set For August 28th

Charles City, Iowa – The grand opening of the new Charles City Middle School has been set for Sunday, August 28th, with a ceremonial ribbon cutting beginning at 2 p.m.

Superintendent Dr. Dan Cox made the announcement on Monday.

Dr. Cox said finishing touches on being done on both the exterior and interior of the new middle school.

Dr. Cox talked about what the public will get to see in the new school during the open house on August 28th.

Cox also talked about the new transportation center which will be located in the vicinity of the middle school and high school.

The public is invited to attend the grand opening of the Charles City Middle School on Sunday, August 28th with opening ceremonies at 2 p.m. and tours held throughout the facility from 2:30 – 5 p.m.
