Five Star Coop Celebrating 100th Anniversary


New Hampton, Iowa – Five Star Co-op has been celebrating the 100th anniversary this year.

The cooperative began in 1916 with the Chickasaw County Equity Cooperative Association in New Hampton. The cooperative now has 17 locations, with headquarters in New Hampton.

Five Star Co-op holds 3 annual picnics for their membership in appreciation for the continued support of its members.

General manager Ken Smith will hold an informational meeting for members and customers at the Gailbraith location on Friday, August 5th at 7:30 a.m.
