First Citizens Bank Honored For Winning Give Back Iowa Volunteer Challenge

Charles City, Iowa – First Citizens Bank and its employees were honored by Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds for winning the 2016 Give Back Iowa Volunteer Challenge in the medium size business category.

Governor Terry Branstad talked about the award.

Employees of First Citizens Bank competed in the Give Back Iowa Challenge in April and May of this year. Employees completed the most number of volunteer hours per person in the medium-sized business category. Size was based on the total number of employees.

Staff representing the Iowa branches of First Citizens were in attendance, including Ryan Venz of the Charles City location.

First Citizens is a community bank with locations in North Iowa and Mora, Minnesota.
