Charles City Man Ditches Vehicle, Arrested For Suspended License

Charles City, Iowa – On Saturday at 3:08am, the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office was called to a single-vehicle accident on Highway 218 near the 228.35 mile marker.

26 year old Michael A. Bostwick of Charles City was northbound when his vehicle left the roadway.

According to the report, Bostwick attempted to drive out of the ditch but couldn’t and instead tried to drive under a fence onto private property. His vehicle then became disabled.

Bostwick was arrested for driving while suspended.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Charles City Police Department.
