New Hampton Library Introduces “First Fridays” Program

New Hampton Library

New Hampton, Iowa – The New Hampton Library will be offering a new program for children ages 0 to 4 years old called First Fridays.

New Hampton librarian Carrie Becker talks about the program.

The program will start on Friday, September 2nd, at 10:00 a.m. For the other Fridays in the month, Becker said another program will be offered.

Along with the two programs for younger children, Becker said they are also offering a program to entice soon-to-be kindergarten age children to learn to read.

Becker also said September is “Library Card Sign-Up Month.”
