Mercy New Hampton To Hold Prenatal, Childbirth Education Class

New Hampton, Iowa – A prenatal/childbirth education class for mothers-to-be and their labor support person will be held on Saturday, September 24 and again Saturday, November 12th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center – New Hampton in the Health Education Center.

The program will include information on prenatal nutrition, exercise, labor and delivery, c-section, Lamaze breathing and relaxation techniques, medication, infant feeding and care and adapting to parenthood.

For those planning to deliver their baby at Mercy – New Hampton, the class is free. For those not receiving care at Mercy, cost is $30.
