New Hampton, Iowa – The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Department is asking for assistance in locating 34 year old Dustin Dean DeVries.

DeVries is wanted on warrants for Theft – 1st (Class “C” Felony) and a Probation Violation, also a Class “C” Felony. The bond for the Theft – 1st Class is $10,000 cash only. There is no bond for the probation violation.

DeVries also has connections in Floyd County. According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department, DeVries has people helping him elude law enforcement.

On Sunday, DeVries was suspected of taking a Floyd County deputy on a high speed chase. According to a Floyd County Sheriff report, DeVries drove through a corn and bean field and then abandoned the vehicle in the 2500 block of Miner Avenue in Floyd County.
